The Balzac, a 5-star hotel with 58 rooms, underwent a complete renovation between 2023 and 2024. Festen envisioned a new decor that is both elegant and refined for this distinguished Parisian gem.
Atelier Roma meticulously hand-painted the corded finishes and applied decorative plasterwork in the spa, ensuring a result of exceptional authenticity and craftsmanship. The bar’s ceiling has been enhanced with a stunning mirror lacquer.
Mineral coatings and polished concrete were specifically developed for this project to enrich the textural depth of the spa. Lime-based coatings, tinted in the workshop with natural pigments, lend the space a unique warmth and depth.
